Business Terms and Conditions

 

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Joe Curious and our products and services!

We have introduced these Business Terms and Conditions so that we can remain focused on serving you and our entire Joe Curious community better through continuously improving our various products and services.

We need the entire community’s support in doing so, so we thank you for taking time to read this document in its entirety and your cooperation in observing these Business Terms and Conditions.

 

1.    Our Products and Services

Subscription Services: Monthly and Gift Plans

Our subscription services are organised in a monthly manner and, depending on which Plan you choose and the amount of beans you order per month, we are committed to providing you with such amount of beans over such number of months that you have chosen in your Plan.

Alteration of subscriptions

We can alter your subscription in case of the following:

(a)    Increase of bags per month (Monthly and Gift Plans)

(b)    In the case of a Gift Plan, increase of duration of such plan

Please contact us at hello@joecurious.sg should you require any of the above alterations to your subscription.

IMPORTANT: Soft Launch Risks

Please note that our subscription service is still in the soft launch phase, and because of the unique nature of our service, bringing in quality roasts unavailable in Singapore from around the world to your doorstep, our smooth fulfilment of the monthly deliveries may be subject to unforeseen circumstances.

We seek your kind understanding and patience with us during this phase, and please know that we are committed to providing you with the number of bags per month and for such number of months as you had requested, and we will inform you promptly should there be any delay.

Starter Kits

We provide starter kits of coffee brewing essentials to get you started on your coffee discovery journey. To help you get started, we have given you substantial discounts off retail price.

Because of the discounts we have put in place, we seek your understanding that individual items of the starter kit are not available for sale separately.

 

2.    Payment

Subscription Services: Monthly and Gift Plans

Monthly Plans will be automatically charged to your designated credit card on the first day of every month. Should there be any change to your credit card details, please inform us at hello@joecurious.sg at the earliest moment, so as to ensure that the automatic monthly charges will not be affected and our monthly deliveries to you will not be interrupted.

Please note that, due to the limited nature of our Gift Plans, payment of the full Gift Plan must be made up front. We will not be able to entertain any request for a recurring billing facility for Gift Plans.

Starter Kits

All payments are to be made online via credit card only. To make payment, please follow the instructions set out on the relevant checkout page.

Refunds

Please note that, save in the case of a selection error, which must be promptly notified to us within 24 hours of the transaction, we will not entertain any requests for refunds.

 

3.    Deliveries

Subscription Services: Monthly and Gift Plans

We will deliver the coffee beans on the last two weeks of every month. Our first month of delivery will be April 2016. Please let us know your preferred time of delivery.

Starter Kits

Starter kits will be delivered within 1 week of a confirmed order. Please let us know your preferred time of delivery.

 

4.    Cancellations

Due to the limited nature of Gift Plans, please note that only Monthly Plans can be cancelled. Should you wish to cancel your Monthly Plan, you can do so via the link provided in the Order Confirmation or Payment Receipt email.

As we have to promptly confirm our orders with our partner roaster of the month once the monthly charges are successfully transacted, please note that we will not be able to entertain any request for immediate cancellation of the next month’s order after the cut-off date and we will only be able to cancel the plan from the subsequent month and beyond.


 

5.    Governing law

These Business Terms and Conditions shall form part of the contractual arrangement between Joe Curious and the customer named on each confirmed order. The customer is deemed to have accepted these Business Terms and Conditions by his/her positive indication while completing his/her order.
 

6.    Application of these Business Terms and Conditions

These Business Terms and Conditions shall apply to all customers of Joe Curious and are effective from 1 March 2016.
